For Luna-chan, the best person in the world for being sweet as caramel and the best Canadian ever. Ever. This is her original character, I think, most likely based on herself. Oh all right, I'm a little bastardized piece of shit, but I really never asked... Nevertheless, this is the first real official proper carefully executed with the intent in mind to finish it cleanly coloured picture I've done in a damn year and more. There were the drabbles in colour pencil because I was so delighted with my new ones, and there were the monochromes, but this is my first real coloured picture in a year (and a little).
So please don't judge me and this too harshly. I wasn't helped in the colouring of it by various commentators, by and large. It really made me want to... I don't know, stand up and stretch my butt muscles. Hah. So much for artistic sensibilities, yes, anus exercise to keep it healthy. But I really worked hard on this. So. Please be... bloody polite, do you hear me, bloody polite. I've said it! I worked really hard on this. I haven't actually coloured anything properly, for, yes, a year and a little. I don't CARE if her skin is too yellow or her skirt has too many purple overtones or her face is crooked (that last had nothing to do with colouring) or the water from the watercolour pencilling has leaked out of the line or she's so cute and such a disgrace to my normal drawing "standard", whatever shit you come up with, I draw for my own pleasure and for experimentation and my art belongs to no one. No. Only me. It may be, oo, dedicated to other people, but it's MINE.
So fuck off and get off my case.

P.S Kuroneko-neko-chan, that doesn't apply to you. ~ Yessss thank you for the giftart! It really makes me so happy to know that you're my friend and we're all gollywoggle good. Happy new year!
Done with Faber Castell watercolour pencils, water; lineart done in Copic Multiliner 0.05 (brand-new); Character (c) Neko-neko, clothing design (c) Sung Jia Yu (yes, me); please do not steal.
That shirt design makes me very proud. I've had it in my head for a little, little while now and I jumped at the chance to use it. It's a shirt in three parts, sleeves, collar and little top part in seperate bits. With skin showing because you have to have skin showing. [falls over] No. I just wanted it like that. Also. In case you'd like to be a smartass. Her left elbow and right hand are resting on "invisible space", just like her arse and her tail. [manic laugh] Don't ask. (Actually I just liked how I drew the skirt and I couldn't bear to cover it by being practical B^[) And I screwed up her ears, by the way. Notice? Now you have.
I actually like it a lot, it has so much character! I know what you mean when you tell people to lay off the colour, I get it too -_- I like the little details you put in.

Why do we always get shitted by other people? I'm going to sound bitchy, but most of the time most of the people saying this can produce a result nowhere close. I know. Sometimes they're just saying it and all... but they can be really offensive sometimes B^[ And sometimes I'm just in the mood to be offended. - - ' Yeah! Like my cartwheel picture? It wasn't a big deal or anything, but there's a smartass I know who responded thusly, somewhere along these lines: "Hahaha like is she breakdancing/ a breakdancer?" It's not really that insulting, I guess, taken out of context. But the look on her face and the sound in her voice and the general piffle-ness of her just wanted an uppercut. I have to say this: Her own art needs something, but she insists on continuing to say something rude or what passes for funny or she's got to be smart about it. Smarmy ass!
Sorry, another grudge I hold. Thanks Kit-chan! I feel good that we can commiserate.. [laugh]
Thanks! Scarf-chan~~~ You really make me feel better When I was doing this, people kept making me feel nervous and I kept thinking, "What the fuck am I doing?" I was so nervous about what I was doing with the bloody colours I nearly ripped up the paper and threw it away... T^T Thank God I didn't. Gosh, everyone's got something to complain about, whether it's her cuteness (hey! what, are they jealous, cuter than them?? ... ) Haha... Off-topic..ranting B^[
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
